The Zero to Hero Course is SIA’s most popular course. Why?  The answer is a thorough course, which is very attractively priced and offers a fun introduction to becoming a recreational yacht skipper.  The course is essentially 3 courses that can be learned sequentially. The ‘classic course’ is 12 days in duration or two other options to complete this course.

The ISSA Zero to Hero course serves as the foundational training for becoming a Yacht Crew Instructor and also helps you build the skills and knowledge required to advance as an ISSA Offshore Skipper or Master of Yachts.

The 3 elements to the course are Yacht Crew, VHF Radio, Inshore Skipper.

There are handbooks that are available to students for elements to this course. These can be purchased at the shop individually or in the near future as a compendium edition.
