Course Summary

The ISSA RIB Skipper 1 with VHF Radio Course is a practical two-day programme designed for complete beginners wanting to safely operate a Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB).

During the course you’ll learn launching and recovery, boat handling, engine operation, manoeuvring, anchoring and essential safety procedures under the guidance of experienced instructors.

The programme also includes the internationally recognised ISSA VHF Radio Course, giving you the communication skills and certification required for safe operation of small craft.

On successful completion you’ll receive:

  • ISSA RIB Skipper 1 Certificate
  • ISSA VHF Radio Operator Certificate
